Position Overview:

The General Resource Teacher provides specialized instructional support to students requiring additional academic assistance. This role focuses on delivering individualized and small-group instruction, collaborating with classroom teachers, and supporting students in meeting academic standards within an inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide targeted instructional support based on student learning needs.
• Collaborate with general education teachers to modify and adapt curriculum.
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student success planning.
• Communicate effectively with families, staff, and administrators.
• Maintain compliance with district policies and state regulations.

License and Certifications:

Must possess or be able to acquire, by the time of appointment, a valid teaching license issued by the Nevada Department of Education. Candidates must be certified in relevant subject areas. Applicants for certificated licensed positions must meet the minimum qualifications as listed on the official vacancy announcement.
