Role and Responsibilities:

In this role, you will provide personalized arithmetic instruction that strengthens foundational mathematical skills and promotes critical thinking. You will monitor student progress, adjust teaching strategies as needed, and create an engaging, supportive learning environment.

Develop and deliver arithmetic lessons customized to students of varying ages and proficiency levels
Evaluate student understanding and adapt teaching techniques to match individual learning needs
Clearly explain mathematical concepts using real-world examples
Maintain detailed records of student performance and lesson outcomes
Prepare students for academic assessments such as quizzes and exams
Create a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages problem-solving and analytical thinking
Integrate educational tools and interactive resources to enhance learning experiences

Required Skills and Experience:

Strong knowledge of arithmetic, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and decimals
Experience teaching or tutoring mathematics, particularly arithmetic
Ability to explain concepts effectively and adapt instruction for diverse learning styles
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational skills to plan lessons and track student progress

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field
Experience with online teaching platforms or virtual tutoring
