Role and Responsibilities:

As a Lead Teacher, you will guide daily classroom operations while fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment for young children. You will design age-appropriate lesson plans, encourage creativity and curiosity, and support children's cognitive, emotional, social, and physical development. The role includes supervising classroom activities, mentoring assistant teachers, maintaining accurate student progress records, implementing curriculum objectives, ensuring compliance with safety and licensing standards, communicating regularly with families about student development, and creating meaningful educational experiences that prepare children for future academic success.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Experience leading preschool or early childhood education classrooms.
• Knowledge of child development principles and age-appropriate teaching strategies.
• Ability to develop engaging lesson plans and classroom activities.
• Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and administrators.
• Understanding of childcare licensing regulations and safety standards.
• Patience, creativity, adaptability, and a genuine passion for educating children.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
• Professional teaching certification or childcare credentials where applicable.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Experience mentoring or coaching classroom staff.
• Familiarity with curriculum planning and child assessment tools.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development in early childhood education.
