As a Lead Spanish Inclusion Teacher, you will play a key role in fostering a bilingual, inclusive classroom environment where children are encouraged to learn, grow, and succeed.

Role and Responsibilities:

The Lead Spanish Inclusion Teacher is responsible for designing and delivering engaging early childhood learning experiences in both Spanish and English. You will support children's developmental milestones while ensuring a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment that promotes curiosity and growth.

• Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that supports cognitive, social, emotional, and language development.
• Lead bilingual (Spanish-English) instructional activities that promote early learning and inclusion.
• Plan and deliver engaging classroom experiences that encourage exploration and creativity.
• Monitor, assess, and document student progress and developmental milestones.
• Ensure the safety, well-being, and engagement of all children at all times.
• Create a positive and collaborative classroom environment for children, families, and staff.
• Communicate effectively with parents and team members regarding student development and needs.
• Support classroom management and maintain a structured yet nurturing learning environment.

Required Skills and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or CDA Certification preferred.
• Completion of required early childhood training hours (DCF hours or equivalent).
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish (native or fluent) and English.
• 2–5 years of experience in a certified child development center.
• Experience working with assigned early childhood age groups.
• Strong understanding of early childhood development principles and inclusive education practices.
• Ability to use standard technology tools such as laptops and smartphones for documentation and communication.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with families and staff.
• Patient, creative, collaborative, and passionate approach to early childhood education.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Additional certifications or training in early childhood education or bilingual instruction.
• Experience in inclusive classroom settings supporting diverse learning needs.
• Familiarity with curriculum planning and developmental assessment tools.
• Previous leadership or lead teacher experience in early education environments.
