Job Requirements- 1.Greet and sign in visitors
2.Master calendar for annual reviews, evaluations, and other IEP meetings for K-6
3.Payroll/time sheets
4.Answers phones and direct calls accordingly
5.MCAS Prep
6.Daily copying
7.Generate meeting invites for all IEP and 504 meetings
8.CORI Forms
9.Update eSPED as necessary
10.Home mailings of meeting invitations, IEPs, and other special education correspondence
11.Supervise students when necessary
12.Sorting and distribution of incoming mail
13.Handle student records
14.Handle any dismissal problems (i.e., emergency contacts, etc.)
15.Available for all staff requests
16.Special projects as needed by the Principal and Assistant Principal
17.Collaborate with Early Intervention to set up Transition Planning Conferences
18.Typing letters/memos
19.Recess duty if required
20.Perform any and all other duties that may be assigned by supervisor
Candidate will provide clerical support to special education department and will have experience with the special education eligibility and documentation process. Successful candidate will have relevant experience as a school secretary, or the equivalent in secretarial duties in other institutions.
This is a school year position with the office paraprofessional typically working one week before school opens and one week after school closes. Position is based on working Monday - Friday 7 hours per day.
Terms and conditions of employment are based on collective bargaining agreement and payment will be commensurate with experience.
Candidates should submit a letter of intent, current resume and three letters of reference. - At least 2 year(s) of relevant experience preferred.
