FOR THE 2025-2026 SCHOOL YEAR

Assist and share responsibility with general and special education personnel to design, implement and evaluate written individual education programs for disabled students placed in any one of a variety of instructional settings through the provision of supportive assistance including direct instruction, consultation, and the provision of in-service training.

Work with children using general education curriculum, or modifying it, to meet the child’s individual needs. Must have excellent communication skills, problem-solving/conflict resolution skills, and collaboration skills. Knowledge of state, federal and Board policies, guidelines, and procedures and the rights and responsibilities of parents, students, teachers and schools as they relate to individuals with special needs.

FOR THE 2025-2026 SCHOOL YEAR

QUALIFICATIONS

Certification:

Must have a Special Education PK-12 certification.

Knowledge and Skills:

Pay Rate: $58,639 - 92,815 (based on highest earned degree and years of experience)

Hours:Elementary - 8:35 AM- 4:05 PM

Middle School - 7:20 AM - 2:50 PM

High School - 7:20 AM - 2:50 PM

Linglestown Elementary School, Mt.View Elementary School, Tri-Community Elementary School, Middle Paxton Elementary School
