Role and Responsibilities:

In this Classroom Support Teacher role, you will work closely with lead educators to support the delivery of structured, engaging, and age-appropriate classroom instruction. You will help maintain a positive, organized, and supportive learning environment while contributing to student development, daily classroom routines, and educational activities.

• Assist lead teachers in designing and implementing age-appropriate lesson plans and classroom activities
• Promote positive behavior and encourage active student participation to support effective classroom management
• Supervise children during instructional time, meals, outdoor play, and daily transitions
• Support preparation and organization of learning materials and classroom resources
• Monitor, document, and communicate student progress, behavior, and developmental milestones
• Maintain a safe, clean, structured, and well-organized classroom environment
• Encourage an inclusive, caring, and emotionally supportive classroom culture for all learners

Required Skills and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; coursework in early childhood education preferred
• Experience working with young children in preschool, daycare, or classroom environments
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative mindset
• Ability to follow instructional plans and support classroom teaching effectively
• Basic understanding of early childhood development concepts
• Patient, empathetic, and child-focused approach to education and care
• Commitment to maintaining safety, supervision, and classroom standards at all times

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
• Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or early childhood teaching certification
• Previous experience in preschool, childcare, or elementary education settings
• Knowledge of early learning frameworks and classroom behavior management techniques
