Role and Responsibilities:

As a Lead Infant and Toddler Teacher, you will design and implement age-appropriate curriculum while leading engaging learning activities that support early childhood development. You will play a critical role in ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children while collaborating with fellow educators and families.

Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum for infants and toddlers.
Plan and lead engaging activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional growth.
Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times.
Monitor and assess children’s progress and development.
Document student progress accurately and consistently.
Create a positive and harmonious classroom environment.
Collaborate with fellow teachers to maintain a supportive learning atmosphere.
Communicate effectively with parents and staff regarding student development.

Required Skills and Experience:

High School Diploma or GED.
45 hours in Growth and Development.
45 hours in Infant and Toddler Curriculum.
Basic Health and Safety training, including all children in the ADA.
30 college credits or 1 year of experience in an early childcare setting.
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with parents and team members.
Ability to demonstrate patience, collaboration, creativity, and passion for early childhood education.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Development.
CDA (Child Development Associate) certification.
Experience in fields such as customer service, healthcare, or retail is considered valuable.

Compensation and Benefits:

Pay range of USD $21.00 - USD $23.00 per hour.
