Role and Responsibilities:

As a Elementary Afterschool Program Teacher at KinderCare, you will support children through vital developmental stages while maintaining a safe, caring, and inspiring learning environment. You will also collaborate with families and fellow educators to ensure every child receives a meaningful and high-quality early education experience.

Implement KinderCare’s curriculum and customize lessons to address each child’s developmental needs.
Create a classroom environment that is protective, engaging, inclusive, and nurturing.
Develop strong, professional connections with children, families, colleagues, and community partners.
Work alongside parents to encourage ongoing development and learning outside the classroom.
Contribute to center goals related to accreditation, enrollment, and community participation.
Comply with KinderCare operational standards and state licensing requirements.

Required Skills and Experience:

Strong customer service skills, effective organization, and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Must meet state hiring qualifications or be willing to complete required training or certification.
CPR and First Aid Certification, or willingness to complete the certification process.
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and actively engage in indoor and outdoor activities with children.
Clear communication skills in English with children, families, and team members.

Preferred Qualifications:

Active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or eligibility through NAEYC requirements.
Two to three years of experience in early childhood education.
Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education.
State-approved trainer designation (preferred).

Compensation and Benefits:
