In the role of Early Childhood Educator Assistant, you help shape early childhood learning by contributing to a safe, engaging, and supportive classroom that encourages the social, emotional, and cognitive development of young children.

Role and Responsibilities:

As an Early Childhood Educator Assistant, you will partner with lead educators to implement age-appropriate learning activities and maintain a structured, caring classroom environment. You will play an active role in ensuring children’s safety, participation, and developmental progress throughout daily routines and educational activities.

• Support the execution of age-appropriate lesson plans and learning exercises.
• Prepare, arrange, and maintain classroom materials and instructional resources for daily use.
• Supervise children during meals, nap times, and all scheduled learning and play activities.
• Maintain a consistently safe, secure, and nurturing environment for all children.
• Encourage interactive, play-based learning experiences that support early development.
• Observe, record, and monitor children’s developmental progress and key milestones.
• Promote a respectful, positive, and cooperative classroom atmosphere among children and staff.

Required Skills and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Experience working in early childhood education within a licensed childcare or development facility.
• Hands-on experience supporting toddlers and preschool-aged children in a classroom setting.
• Basic proficiency in using digital tools such as tablets and laptops for classroom tasks.
• Strong patience, caring nature, and genuine enthusiasm for supporting early childhood growth and learning.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Child Development Associate (CDA) certification or Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) credential.
• Previous exposure to customer service, healthcare, or retail environments is an added advantage.
• Interest in developing a long-term career in early childhood education, with potential training support opportunities.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Hourly pay range of $17.00 to $19.00, depending on qualifications and experience.
