MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Valid Ohio Teaching License with a K-12 Spanish Language Endorsement

•

Fluent in Spanish and have basic English skills

•

Possess much patience for and enjoyment of children

•

Ambitious, high – energy person

•

Ability to maintain professional conduct, appearance and manner

•

Organized individual with ability to use initiative and creativity in stimulating student learning

•

Excellent communication skills

•

Ability to encourage active participation of students and to maintain an effective learning environment

•

Familiar with and capable of utilizing Smart Board technology to enhance instruction

•

Excellent classroom management techniques

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:

•

Experience teaching Spanish as a second language

•

Experience in working with special needs students

•
