Role and Responsibilities:

As a Early Childhood Support Teacher, you will assist lead educators in delivering structured, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning experiences. You will contribute to maintaining a positive classroom environment while supporting student growth, daily routines, and instructional activities in a safe and organized setting.

Support lead teachers in preparing and executing age-appropriate lesson plans and learning activities
Encourage positive behavior and active participation to support effective classroom management
Supervise children during learning sessions, meals, outdoor play, and transition periods
Assist in preparing classroom materials and organizing educational resources
Observe, track, and communicate student development, behavior, and progress milestones
Maintain a clean, structured, and safe classroom environment at all times
Promote an inclusive, caring, and supportive atmosphere for all children

Required Skills and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent qualification required; early childhood education coursework preferred
Prior experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, or classroom environments
Strong communication abilities and a collaborative team-oriented mindset
Capability to follow lesson plans and support instructional delivery effectively
Basic understanding of early childhood development principles
Patience, empathy, and a positive approach focused on child development and care
Commitment to maintaining safety and supervision standards consistently

Preferred Qualifications:

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related discipline
Early Childhood Education certification or Child Development Associate (CDA) credential
Previous experience in preschool, childcare, or elementary education settings
Familiarity with early learning frameworks and classroom behavior management strategies
