Role and Responsibilities:

As a Daycare Lead Teacher, you will lead classroom instruction and create a welcoming environment where children can learn, explore, and grow. You will develop engaging lesson plans, implement age-appropriate educational activities, supervise daily classroom operations, mentor assistant teachers, monitor developmental progress, and encourage positive behavior. The role also includes maintaining a safe and organized classroom, ensuring compliance with childcare licensing standards, communicating regularly with families about children's development, and promoting a nurturing atmosphere that supports every child's individual learning journey.

Required Skills and Experience:

Experience working in a licensed childcare center, preschool, or early childhood education setting.
Strong understanding of child development and early learning principles.
Ability to create engaging lesson plans and educational activities.
Excellent classroom management and organizational skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities with children, families, and colleagues.
Knowledge of childcare safety practices and licensing regulations.
Ability to lead a classroom while fostering teamwork and collaboration.
Passion for supporting children's educational and developmental growth.

Preferred Qualifications:

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or equivalent certification.
CPR and First Aid certification.
Previous leadership or mentoring experience in a childcare environment.
Experience implementing early childhood curriculum and developmental assessments.
Commitment to continuous professional development and educational excellence.
