Elementary Teacher

Role and Responsibilities:

As an Elementary Teacher, you will plan, organize, and deliver high-quality, standards-based instruction in a private school setting. You will create a structured and inclusive classroom environment while supporting student development and fostering a positive learning experience.

• Plan and deliver standards-based instruction in English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student learning needs and abilities
• Create and maintain an engaging, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
• Utilize a variety of instructional strategies, educational resources, and technology tools
• Assess and monitor student progress using formal and informal evaluation methods
• Maintain accurate records of grades, attendance, and student performance
• Implement effective classroom management strategies to promote positive behavior
• Support students’ social, emotional, and character development
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and classroom updates
• Participate in parent-teacher conferences, faculty meetings, and school events
• Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and support staff
• Adhere to school policies, procedures, and expectations
• Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities
• Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times
• Lead innovative learning activities that promote children’s growth and development
• Create a positive and harmonious environment for students and staff

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or a related field
• Valid teaching certification or eligibility for certification
• Knowledge of elementary curriculum and instructional best practices
• Strong classroom management and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and staff
• Ability to assess student performance and adapt instruction accordingly

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in schools or educational settings
• Background in fields such as customer service, healthcare, or retail with transferable skills
• Demonstrated passion for working with children and supporting their development

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary range: USD $38,000.00 - USD $48,000.00 per year
