Role and Responsibilities:
As a Lead Early Childhood Teacher, you will lead classroom activities and create engaging learning experiences that support children’s growth and development. You will foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment while building meaningful relationships with children, families, and fellow educators.
- Lead and manage classroom activities in a safe and nurturing environment
- Plan and implement age-appropriate educational lessons and activities
- Support children’s emotional, social, cognitive, and physical development
- Ensure the safety and well-being of children throughout daily routines and activities
- Build positive partnerships with parents through regular communication
- Maintain classroom organization and compliance with childcare standards
- Collaborate with teaching staff and leadership to support learning goals
- Create an engaging and inclusive classroom culture that encourages exploration and growth
Required Skills and Experience:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to pass a background check
- Completion of required childcare training within the designated onboarding period
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Empathy and understanding of children’s developmental needs
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic educational environment
- Ability to meet the physical demands of working with young children
Preferred Qualifications:
- Education or coursework in Early Childhood Education
- Previous experience working in a licensed childcare or early education center
- Experience leading classroom activities and child development programs
- Passion for early childhood education and continuous professional growth
