Role and Responsibilities:

As a Child Care Center Teacher at KinderCare, you will play an important role in each child’s learning journey, helping them reach developmental milestones while maintaining a welcoming, safe classroom where curiosity and growth can flourish. You will also work together with families and fellow educators to provide a high-quality early education experience.

Follow KinderCare’s curriculum and adjust instruction to suit the developmental needs of each child.
Create and maintain a classroom environment that is safe, engaging, and supportive.
Develop positive, professional relationships with children, families, colleagues, and community partners.
Partner with parents to encourage continued learning and development at home.
Assist with center goals related to enrollment, accreditation, and community engagement.
Maintain compliance with KinderCare policies and state licensing regulations.

Required Skills and Experience:

Strong customer service skills, solid organization, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Must meet state qualification requirements or be willing to complete necessary steps to obtain them.
CPR and First Aid Certification, or willingness to become certified.
Able to lift up to 40 pounds, participate in indoor and outdoor activities, and physically engage with children.
Clear and effective communication in English with children and families.

Preferred Qualifications:

Current Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or eligibility through NAEYC standards.
Two to three years of early childhood education experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education.
State-approved trainer status (preferred).

Compensation and Benefits:
