Classroom Lead Teacher

Role and Responsibilities:

As a Classroom Lead Teacher, you will oversee classroom instruction by planning and facilitating engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons that support children’s cognitive, social, and emotional growth. You will ensure a structured and nurturing learning environment while managing daily classroom activities and monitoring progress.

• Develop and implement curriculum aligned with early childhood education standards
• Lead engaging and interactive activities that encourage cognitive, social, and emotional development
• Plan and coordinate classroom experiences that support developmental milestones
• Maintain a safe, supervised, and child-centered classroom environment at all times
• Observe, assess, and document children’s developmental progress
• Create and sustain a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom atmosphere
• Work collaboratively with team members and communicate effectively with parents and families

Required Skills and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in early childhood education or a related field
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with children, families, and colleagues
• Ability to demonstrate patience, creativity, teamwork, and enthusiasm for early childhood education
• Experience planning and delivering educational activities for young children
• Ability to maintain a structured, safe, and engaging classroom environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
• Previous experience in a lead teaching or classroom leadership role
• Background in childcare, education, customer service, healthcare, retail, or other roles focused on working with people

Compensation and Benefits:

• Hourly compensation ranging from USD $17.00 to USD $18.50
