Role and Responsibilities:

In this role, you will help learners of various ages and proficiency levels strengthen their French language abilities. You will provide personalized, goal-driven instruction that adapts to individual learning needs while keeping lessons engaging and effective.

• Deliver individualized French tutoring sessions through online or in-person formats.
• Create tailored lesson plans and instructional materials aligned with student skill levels and learning styles.
• Review student progress consistently and refine teaching approaches to support continuous improvement.
• Build a supportive and motivating learning environment that enhances confidence in French speaking, reading, and writing.
• Communicate constructive and detailed feedback to students and their families regarding progress and development.
• Incorporate practical language usage and cultural elements to encourage immersion in the French language.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Advanced proficiency in French with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience teaching or tutoring French in formal or informal educational settings.
• Strong understanding of French grammar, pronunciation, and cultural context.
• Ability to adapt instructional techniques to meet diverse learning styles and proficiency levels.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including patience, empathy, and a passion for teaching.
• Reliable internet access to support virtual tutoring sessions when applicable.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Degree or certification in French, linguistics, education, or a related field of study.
• Experience assisting students with preparation for French proficiency exams such as DELF or DALF.
