Assistant Primary Teacher

Role and Responsibilities:

You will support the lead teacher in delivering engaging lesson plans and ensuring a positive classroom experience for primary school students. You will help manage classroom activities, reinforce learning objectives, and contribute to student development through structured academic and behavioral support.

• Assist the lead teacher in planning and delivering age-appropriate lesson activities aligned with curriculum standards.
• Support classroom management by maintaining a safe, respectful, and organized learning environment.
• Help assess student progress through observation, assignments, and informal evaluations.
• Provide individualized support to students who require additional academic or behavioral assistance.
• Supervise students during classroom activities, breaks, and school events to ensure safety and engagement.
• Prepare instructional materials, learning aids, and classroom resources as needed.
• Communicate effectively with teachers, staff, and parents to support student development.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field preferred.
• Previous experience in a classroom or childcare setting is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of primary education principles and child development practices.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement techniques.
• Basic proficiency in educational tools and classroom management systems.
• Patience, adaptability, and a passion for working with young learners.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Early Childhood Education (ECE) certification or teaching credential.
• Experience working in Montessori or structured early learning environments.
• Familiarity with digital learning tools and interactive classroom technologies.
