The Chelmsford Public Schools is now accepting applications for the following anticipated vacancy. The District reserves the right to change this vacancy or not fill this vacancy based on further staffing changes, enrollment, or budget.
Position:Long-Term Substitute Integrated Preschool Teacher
Assignment Dates: 01/16/2026- 04/16/2026 (Dates are subject to change)
Location: CHIPS
Description: DESE licensed teacher for an inclusive preschool classroom. The preschool classroom is a setting that serves children with and without identified disabilities.
QUALIFICATIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Experience working with Special Education population.
* Certification in Early Childhood Education AND Moderate Disabilities preferred.
* Experience working with preschool aged children with and without disabilities.
* Evaluating children to determine eligibility for special education
* Developing and implementing IEPs in an inclusive clasroom setting
* Data collection and writing of progress notes for students.
* Lesson planning and implementation
* Collaborations with colleagues, including staff meetings and professional development
* Other duties and responsibilities appropriate to the position and as assigned by the preschool coordinator.
