Overview:

As a Middle School Softball Coach, you will be responsible for coaching and leading the school's softball team. You will work with students to enhance their softball skills, promote teamwork, and instill a love for the sport.

Responsibilities:

Organize and conduct regular practices to improve players' skills in batting, pitching, fielding, and base running.

Develop game strategies and tactics to maximize the team's performance.

Provide guidance and mentorship to student-athletes, both on and off the field.

Foster a supportive and respectful team environment that encourages sportsmanship.

Attend games, tournaments, and other team events.

Communicate effectively with players, parents, and school administration.

Ensure the safety and well-being of all team members during practices and games.

Emphasize the importance of fair play and good sportsmanship.

Collaborate with other coaches and school staff to coordinate team activities.

The middle school softball season typically runs from February 3 to May 13. Practices are typically held Monday - Friday after school, with games scheduled on Tuesday and Thursdays.
