Role and Responsibilities:

As an Infant Teacher at Primrose School, you will play a foundational role in the early development of young children during their most critical stage of growth. You will create a nurturing, calm, and stimulating environment where infants can explore, bond, and begin their earliest learning experiences. With support from Primrose’s digital Balanced Learning® curriculum, you will guide infants through meaningful interactions, routines, and sensory activities that encourage physical, emotional, and cognitive development.

Provide attentive, nurturing care to infants while helping them feel safe, loved, and secure.
Implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that support exploration, bonding, and early developmental milestones.
Create a clean, safe, and comforting classroom environment that meets state and Primrose safety standards.
Build strong, trusting relationships with families through daily communication and developmental updates.
Observe and support each infant’s individual needs, recognizing differences in temperament, growth, and learning styles.
Maintain consistent routines for feeding, diapering, napping, and playtime in a calm, organized manner.
Collaborate with school leadership and participate in ongoing professional development to strengthen teaching skills and knowledge.
Contribute to a positive, joyful school culture focused on teamwork, respect, and child-centered care.

Required Skills and Experience:

A passion for working with infants and supporting early childhood development.
Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with families and colleagues.
Experience in early childhood education or childcare settings preferred, but not required.
Ability to work collaboratively and maintain a calm, nurturing presence.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in early childhood education or childcare settings (preferred but not required).
