Role and Responsibilities:

As a Lead Pre-Kindergarten Teacher, you will design and deliver engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences that support children’s cognitive, social, and emotional development. You will lead classroom activities, ensure a safe environment, and track student progress while fostering a positive and collaborative atmosphere.

Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum and lesson plans
Plan and lead engaging activities that promote children’s development and growth
Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times
Monitor, assess, and document student progress and developmental milestones
Create a positive and harmonious classroom environment for students and staff
Collaborate with fellow teachers and communicate effectively with parents
Support children’s cognitive, social, and emotional development through daily interactions

Required Skills and Experience:

High School Diploma or GED
2–5 years of experience working in a certified child development center
Prior experience working with the assigned age group
Meets specific requirements set by minimum state standards and/or accreditation
Ability to use standard office equipment, including a laptop and smartphone
Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with parents and staff
Demonstrated patience, collaboration, creativity, and passion for early childhood education

Preferred Qualifications:

Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Development
Child Development Associate (CDA) certification
Experience in related fields such as customer service, healthcare, or retail
