Job Requirements
  • Requirements:

    A valid MA Department of Elementary and Secondary Education teaching license in the area of English as a Second Language (5-12)

    Qualifications:

    Preference will be given to candidates who can demonstrate:

    • Expertise and experience teaching English Language Learners as outlined by the MA Department of Elementary and Secondary

    Education (DESE)

    • Knowledge of the Rethinking Equity and Teaching for English Language Learners (RETELL) initiative;

    • Knowledge of the new MA State Frameworks;

    • An understanding of technology applications;

    • Experience working with a diverse student population;

    • Willingness to collaborate with the school’s faculty and staff;

    • Experience in generating positive parent involvement;

    • Evidence of a continuing interest in his/her own professional growth and development.

    • Evidence of SEI Endorsement.
  • At least 3 year(s) of relevant experience preferred.
  • Master degree preferred.
  • Citizenship, residency or work visa required
