Lead Teacher

Position Overview:

The Learning Experience is seeking a dedicated Lead Teacher to support the growth and development of toddlers in a nurturing and engaging classroom environment. This role involves implementing age-appropriate curriculum, fostering developmental milestones, and building strong relationships with children and families.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum aligned with early childhood milestones.
• Incorporate sensory play, music, movement, and hands-on learning activities.
• Facilitate structured and unstructured play experiences.
• Support language development, emotional growth, and motor skills.
• Encourage independence through self-help activities such as feeding and dressing.
• Build strong relationships with children and families.
• Provide regular updates to parents on children’s daily activities and progress.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and engaging classroom environment.
• Ensure proper sanitation and rotation of toys and learning materials.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 6 months of professional teaching experience.
• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to support early childhood developmental milestones.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and nurturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 year of professional teaching experience.
• Associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• CPR and First Aid certification.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Hourly pay: $22.00 - $27.00
• Full-time schedule (Monday to Friday)
