Role and Responsibilities:

In the role of Student Success Coach, you will collaborate with students to strengthen their academic skills and encourage positive personal development. You will actively support classroom instruction, provide individualized tutoring, and implement mentorship strategies designed to improve student outcomes.

Deliver one-on-one and small group tutoring in core subjects including reading, math, and science.
Demonstrate positive behaviors and model social-emotional skills for students.
Establish trusting relationships with students to promote academic and personal growth.
Partner with teachers and school staff to assess student needs and monitor progress.
Develop and execute strategies to boost student engagement and achievement.
Collect and analyze student data to track progress and inform instructional adjustments.

Required Skills and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience engaging with youth in educational or mentorship contexts.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively connect with students.
Ability to plan, organize, and deliver targeted instructional support.
Dedication to fostering student growth and promoting educational equity.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience tutoring or mentoring in academic settings.
Knowledge of strategies for diverse learning needs and social-emotional development.
Familiarity with data-driven approaches for tracking student performance.
