Role and Responsibilities:

As a Inclusive Education Teacher, you will plan, develop, and deliver individualized instruction that promotes both academic achievement and social-emotional development. You will help maintain a structured, supportive, and engaging classroom environment while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure each student receives consistent and meaningful support.

Design and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) aligned with each student’s unique learning goals and developmental needs
Create and deliver engaging lessons using differentiated instructional strategies to support varied learning styles
Maintain a safe, structured, and positive classroom environment that reinforces routine, consistency, and appropriate behavior
Monitor, assess, and document student progress through accurate reports, evaluations, and required educational records
Provide ongoing support and guidance to classroom staff to ensure consistent implementation of student learning plans

Required Skills and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Special Education with a valid Pennsylvania Special Education teaching certification
Minimum of three months of experience working with individuals with disabilities
Strong understanding of child development, differentiated instruction techniques, and behavior management strategies
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Ability to lead classroom instruction and work collaboratively within a team-based educational environment

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience supporting students with autism or emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges
Familiarity with therapeutic and student-centered instructional approaches in school settings
Additional training or certifications in behavior intervention strategies or social-emotional learning practices
