Classroom Teacher

Role and Responsibilities:

In this role, you will deliver engaging, standards-aligned instruction and build a classroom culture that encourages curiosity, respect, and growth. You will collaborate with colleagues to design and implement educational activities that support student learning and development.

• Develop and implement effective lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards
• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Provide targeted instruction tailored to diverse student needs
• Monitor and assess student progress using both formal and informal assessments
• Communicate with students, families, and colleagues to support academic success
• Collaborate with fellow teachers to create interdisciplinary learning opportunities
• Participate in professional development and contribute to school-wide initiatives

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage students and colleagues effectively
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom environment
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the varied needs of students
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Teaching certification or eligibility for certification
• Previous teaching experience (optional)
• Experience working with diverse student populations
