What You’ll Do:
As a collaborative member of the Special Education team in Salem, this person is responsible for teaching, evaluating, and implementing reading instruction for students who have a documented reading disability and receive specialized reading instruction as part of their IEP services. The successful candidate must have a working knowledge of effective research-based reading practices, understand how to deliver accessible instruction, and be able to work collaboratively with special education staff, general education teachers and consultants. The candidate must manage a fluid caseload and maintain flexibility with scheduling.

Salary:Teacher salaries in the Salem Public Schools are determined by the Salem Teachers Union collective bargaining agreement (see new 2024-27 language with updated salary information here ).
