Title: Long-Term Substitute Latin Teacher (1.0 FTE)

Position Summary:

Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School seeks a qualified Long-Term Substitute Latin teacher to cover a leave of absence starting March 23, 2026 and ending, on or about, June 17, 2026.

Duties and Responsibilities (Not limited to):

*Serve as a positive and collaborative member of the LS community

*Plans lessons that meet the individual needs, interests and abilities of the students

*Creates a classroom environment that is inclusive and productive, and maintains appropriate standards of classroom behavior

*Provides timely and appropriate feedback to students, with progress reports as needed

*Communicates with parents to discuss student progress

*Pursues professional growth through activities in and out of school

*Cooperates with other professional staff in supporting student learning

*All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

*Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred from an accredited college or university

*Licensed, or eligible for licensure in Latin and Classical Humanities 5-12 by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary & Secondary Education

Experience Preferred:

*3 + years educational teaching environment preferred

*High School teaching experience preferred

Salary Range:

*Unlicensed candidate:

*****$125/day (1-90 days)

*Licensed candidate:

*****$125/day (1-30 days)

*****$312.19/day - $734.44/day (30+ days)

************Based on degree and licensed teaching experience
