Child Development Lead Teacher

Role and Responsibilities:

As a Child Development Lead Teacher, you will guide classroom instruction by planning and delivering engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons that support children’s cognitive, social, and emotional growth. You will foster a structured and nurturing classroom environment while overseeing daily activities and tracking student progress.

• Design and implement curriculum aligned with early childhood education standards
• Lead interactive and engaging activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development
• Organize and manage classroom experiences that support key developmental milestones
• Maintain a safe, supervised, and child-centered learning environment at all times
• Observe, evaluate, and document each child’s developmental progress
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom atmosphere
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with parents and families

Required Skills and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
• At least 2 years of experience in early childhood education or a related field
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with children, families, and colleagues
• Ability to demonstrate patience, creativity, teamwork, and enthusiasm for early childhood education
• Experience planning and delivering educational activities for young children
• Ability to maintain a structured, safe, and engaging classroom environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
• Previous experience in a lead teaching or classroom leadership role
• Background in childcare, education, customer service, healthcare, retail, or other people-focused roles

Compensation and Benefits:

• Hourly pay ranging from USD $17.00 to USD $18.50
