Role and Responsibilities:

In this role, you will provide nurturing care and early education to infants, supporting their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. You will assist in implementing age-appropriate lesson plans, maintain a safe and clean classroom, and build trusted relationships with children and their families.

Create a nurturing, stimulating, and safe environment for infants.
Implement age-appropriate lesson plans provided by the school.
Observe, monitor, and support each infant’s developmental milestones.
Ensure cleanliness, safety, and organization of the classroom and infant care areas.
Communicate effectively with families and staff to foster a supportive community.
Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.

Required Skills and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework in early childhood education preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and families.
Patience, empathy, and passion for nurturing young children.
Physical ability to lift and carry up to 35 lbs. and engage in classroom activities.

Preferred Qualifications:

Child Development Associate (CDA) credential for infants and toddlers.
Previous experience in infant care or early childhood education settings.
Knowledge of infant development and best practices in early childhood education.
Familiarity with structured early learning curricula or digital teaching platforms.
Bilingual abilities are a plus.

Compensation and Benefits:

Hourly wage: $17.00–$23.00.
