Assistant Toddler Teacher

Role and Responsibilities:

As an Assistant Toddler Teacher, you will support lead teachers in delivering age-appropriate curriculum and ensuring a nurturing classroom environment. You will actively contribute to children’s developmental progress while maintaining safety and organization throughout daily activities.

• Assist in implementing age-appropriate curriculum and learning activities.
• Prepare and organize classroom materials to support daily lessons.
• Supervise children during all activities, including meals and naptime.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times.
• Support innovative learning experiences that promote development and growth.
• Monitor and observe children’s progress and developmental milestones.
• Create a positive and harmonious classroom environment for children and staff.

Required Skills and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience in Early Childhood Education within a certified child development center.
• Prior experience working with toddler and pre-school age children.
• Ability to operate standard office equipment such as laptops and tablets.
• Strong patience, nurturing attitude, and genuine interest in child development.

Preferred Qualifications:

• CDA (Child Development Associate) or ECT certification.
• Experience from related fields such as customer service, healthcare, or retail is valued.
• Interest in pursuing a career in early childhood education (ECE class sponsorship may be available).

Compensation and Benefits:

• Hourly pay ranging from $17.00 to $19.00, based on education and experience.
