Childcare Lead Teacher

Role and Responsibilities:

As a Childcare Lead Teacher at Child Development Schools, you will create a classroom environment filled with discovery, creativity, learning, and joy. You will guide children through meaningful experiences that encourage curiosity, confidence, kindness, and growth while ensuring a safe and welcoming atmosphere.

• Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons and activities for Infant, Preschool, or School Age classrooms
• Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant classroom environment
• Observe and document each child’s development and regularly communicate progress with families
• Build strong relationships with parents through daily communication and scheduled conferences
• Complete required documentation including attendance, incident reports, and assessments
• Support children’s emotional, social, and educational growth
• Collaborate with team members to create engaging and nurturing learning experiences

Required Skills and Experience:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Degree in Early Childhood Education
• Ability to pass a background check
• Completion of required childcare training within the designated onboarding period
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Passion for working with children and supporting their development
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and nurturing classroom environment
• Physical ability to meet the demands of working with young children

Preferred Qualifications:

• Coursework in Early Childhood Education
• Previous experience in a licensed childcare or early education center
• Experience working with infants, preschool, or school-age children
• Commitment to continuous professional growth and learning
