Role and Responsibilities:

You will provide specialized instruction tailored to students with a variety of learning needs. Using adaptive teaching strategies, you will create an engaging, supportive classroom environment and collaborate with staff to promote student success.

Plan and deliver instruction that addresses individual learning objectives and curriculum goals for students with diverse needs.
Develop lesson materials and educational resources suited to varied learning styles.
Implement instructional methods and accommodations appropriate for multi-categorical students.
Use creative tools, including technology, art, and interactive activities, to enhance student engagement.
Adapt teaching methods to meet the academic and social-emotional needs of students.
Maintain a positive and structured classroom environment conducive to learning.
Develop and enforce classroom management strategies that encourage appropriate behavior.
Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and families to support student progress and development.

Required Skills and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Education or equivalent.
OH Department of Education Teaching Certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience teaching students with diverse learning needs.
Passion for fostering inclusive and adaptive learning environments.
