As an Toddler Classroom Assistant Teacher, you contribute to early childhood education by helping create a safe, encouraging, and interactive classroom that supports young children’s learning, growth, and overall development.

Role and Responsibilities:

In the Toddler Classroom Assistant Teacher role, you will work closely with lead educators to deliver developmentally appropriate learning experiences and maintain a structured, supportive classroom environment. You will help ensure children’s safety, engagement, and developmental progress throughout daily routines and activities.

Support the delivery of age-suitable curriculum and classroom learning activities.
Set up, arrange, and organize instructional materials for daily lessons.
Supervise and monitor children during meals, rest time, and all classroom activities.
Maintain a safe, secure, and caring environment for all children at all times.
Encourage engaging and creative learning experiences that support early development.
Observe and track children’s developmental growth and milestones.
Help foster a positive, respectful, and cooperative classroom atmosphere.

Required Skills and Experience:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Prior experience in Early Childhood Education within a licensed child development setting.
Experience working with toddlers and preschool-aged children.
Basic ability to use standard office technology such as laptops and tablets.
Strong patience, nurturing attitude, and genuine passion for child development and care.

Preferred Qualifications:

Child Development Associate (CDA) certification or ECT credential.
Previous experience in customer service, healthcare, or retail environments is an advantage.
Interest in building a long-term career in early childhood education (training sponsorship may be available).

Compensation and Benefits:

Hourly pay range: $17.00 – $19.00, based on education and experience.
