Provides support when regular Crossing Guards are absent.

Job Duties:

• Ability to supervise children both visually and audibly to ensure their safety while crossing streets/highways for school.
• Must follow verbal directives and communicate effectively with children,
• Walks along with children crossing streets.
• Holds small sign and motions with arms and hands to traffic and children.
• Must not pose a threat to the health and safety of self or others.
• Works according to the school calendar year.

Hours may vary from morning to afternoon or both.

Qualifications:

Education/CertificationHigh school diploma or GED

Position Type:Substitute

Salary:$14.15 Per Hour
