Role and Responsibilities:

As a Inclusive Education Teacher, you will plan, develop, and deliver individualized instruction that promotes both academic achievement and social-emotional development. You will help maintain a structured, supportive, and engaging classroom environment while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure each student receives consistent and meaningful support.

• Design and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) aligned with each student’s unique learning goals and developmental needs
• Create and deliver engaging lessons using differentiated instructional strategies to support varied learning styles
• Maintain a safe, structured, and positive classroom environment that reinforces routine, consistency, and appropriate behavior
• Monitor, assess, and document student progress through accurate reports, evaluations, and required educational records
• Provide ongoing support and guidance to classroom staff to ensure consistent implementation of student learning plans

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education with a valid Pennsylvania Special Education teaching certification
• Minimum of three months of experience working with individuals with disabilities
• Strong understanding of child development, differentiated instruction techniques, and behavior management strategies
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lead classroom instruction and work collaboratively within a team-based educational environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting students with autism or emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges
• Familiarity with therapeutic and student-centered instructional approaches in school settings
• Additional training or certifications in behavior intervention strategies or social-emotional learning practices
