Role and Responsibilities:

In your capacity as a Private Swim Coach, you will provide personalized swimming instruction that aligns with each student’s unique abilities and progress. You will establish a supportive and safe learning environment while closely monitoring student development and aiding their continued swimming improvement.

• Create and deliver customized swimming lesson plans for students of various ages and skill levels.
• Teach foundational swimming strokes, such as freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly.
• Instruct students in essential water safety practices, helping them gain confidence in aquatic environments.
• Assess and track student progress, offering constructive feedback to improve swimming techniques.
• Incorporate diverse drills, exercises, and challenges to reinforce swimming proficiency.
• Maintain clear communication with students and their families to establish learning goals and monitor progress.
• Stay informed about the latest techniques and safety standards in swimming instruction.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Thorough knowledge of swimming techniques and water safety principles.
• Experience teaching swimming to students with varying ages and skill levels.
• Ability to design engaging lesson plans that accommodate individual learning needs.
• Strong organizational abilities to manage lesson schedules and effectively track student progress.
• Experience in maintaining a safe and regulated swimming environment in line with pool guidelines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in lifeguarding, swimming instruction, or aquatic safety.
• Background in coaching competitive swimming or preparing students for swimming assessments.
• Degree or formal training in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field.
