Lead Early Childhood Teacher

Role and Responsibilities:

As a Lead Early Childhood Teacher, you will lead classroom activities and create engaging learning experiences that support children’s growth and development. You will foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment while building meaningful relationships with children, families, and fellow educators.

• Lead and manage classroom activities in a safe and nurturing environment
• Plan and implement age-appropriate educational lessons and activities
• Support children’s emotional, social, cognitive, and physical development
• Ensure the safety and well-being of children throughout daily routines and activities
• Build positive partnerships with parents through regular communication
• Maintain classroom organization and compliance with childcare standards
• Collaborate with teaching staff and leadership to support learning goals
• Create an engaging and inclusive classroom culture that encourages exploration and growth

Required Skills and Experience:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or GED required
• Ability to pass a background check
• Completion of required childcare training within the designated onboarding period
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Empathy and understanding of children’s developmental needs
• Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic educational environment
• Ability to meet the physical demands of working with young children

Preferred Qualifications:

• Education or coursework in Early Childhood Education
• Previous experience working in a licensed childcare or early education center
• Experience leading classroom activities and child development programs
• Passion for early childhood education and continuous professional growth
