Role and Responsibilities:

In this High School Educator position, you will guide students’ academic progress and personal development. You will implement a structured curriculum, monitor learning outcomes, and foster a classroom environment that is engaging, supportive, and productive. Key responsibilities include:

Create and deliver engaging, standards-based lessons that challenge students and promote strong academic advancement.
Assess student understanding through assignments, assessments, and daily observations while offering timely and constructive feedback.
Maintain effective classroom management practices that support a respectful and focused learning atmosphere.
Work collaboratively with colleagues, school leadership, and staff to enhance student achievement and align with schoolwide goals.
Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to share updates on student progress and work together on strategies that support success.
Participate in professional development, coaching, and training sessions to strengthen instructional practices and develop leadership skills.

Required Skills and Experience:

A bachelor’s degree, preferably in a rigorous academic field such as biology, chemistry, history, mathematics, English, or engineering.
Ability to manage a classroom of 20 or more students while maintaining a positive and productive learning environment.
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Dedication to upholding high academic expectations and supporting students’ personal growth.
Passion for the subject area and commitment to continuous professional development.

Preferred Qualifications:

Teaching experience is beneficial but not required.
Familiarity with data-informed instruction and analyzing student performance to guide academic improvement.
Comfort using instructional technology and digital tools to support teaching and learning.

Compensation and Benefits:

Annual starting salary of $65,000.
