Job Description:

Supplemental Health Care is partnering with a school district in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, to hire school nurses to provide 1:1 support for medically complex students. Qualifications:

• Missouri LPN / LVN License
• American Heart Association BLS
• Minimum of 1 year of prior nursing experience in a school or pediatric setting

1:1 School Nurse Contract Details:

• $46.95 - $50.55 per hour
• Schedule follows the school district calendar
• This is a one-to-one nurse position to provide medical care to a student throughout the school day based on the student's medical diagnosis and care plan

Key Responsibilities:

• The nurse will be expected to follow medical care plans and medical orders IEP/504 plans, and provide effective and pertinent information to the special education team and student caregivers
• Nurse will be expected to complete daily documentation
• Contract is for the current school year
• LPN will be matched to student based on the nurse's medical acuity experience
