Role and Responsibilities:

You will implement the school’s curriculum and guidelines to help students develop their mathematical skills while encouraging personal growth. Your role involves preparing lesson plans, assessing student progress, and fostering collaboration with colleagues and parents.

Provide thorough preparation of material for final exams.
Prepare lesson plans, assignments, tests, and other documentation as needed.
Implement teaching methods and materials to address individual student needs and progress.
Provide individualized attention to each student, encouraging development of math skills and personalities.
Establish positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
Collaborate with colleagues on projects and activities.
Prepare reports, presentations, and assignments as needed.
Attend staff meetings and participate in professional development programs.

Required Skills and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or related field preferred but not required.
Certified Teacher in Ohio (required).
Ability to communicate effectively with parents, students, and colleagues.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
Ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people, multitask, and collaborate in teams.
Strong organizational, written, and oral communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience teaching mathematics to middle school students preferred but not required.

Compensation and Benefits:

Pay starting at $38 per hour and up.
