Long-Term Substitute Teacher- High School Biology - Fairfield Senior High School*This vacancy is tentatively effective from 9/3/2025-11/21/2025.

*Must hold a valid substitute teacher license or appropriate teacher license. Must have the ability to work effectively on an academic team with other academic teachers to best meet the needs of our students. Must communicate effectively with students, staff, and community. Must be able to effectively design and deliver lessons connected to the state standards.

*Pay is at a sub rate of $125 per day for days 1-20, $135 per day for days 21-40, $145 per day for days 41-60

Applicants that are offered a teaching position shall be required to submit to an FBI/BCI criminal background check. Failure to satisfactorily pass the criminal background check based upon the discretion of the Board of Education will preclude an individual from employment with the Fairfield City School District.
