Lead Infant Teacher

Role and Responsibilities:

As a Lead Infant Teacher, you will design and deliver engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences that support infants’ cognitive, social, and emotional growth. You will lead classroom activities, ensure child safety, and foster a welcoming environment for children, families, and fellow educators.

• Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum and learning activities
• Plan and lead engaging activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development
• Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times
• Monitor, assess, and document each child’s developmental progress
• Create a positive, harmonious classroom environment for children and staff
• Collaborate with fellow teachers to support classroom operations and learning outcomes
• Communicate effectively with parents and staff regarding children’s development
• Lead innovative learning experiences that encourage growth and exploration

Required Skills and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to interact with parents and team members
• Understanding of best practices for infant care and early childhood education
• Ability to demonstrate patience, collaboration, and creativity in a classroom setting
• Passion for working with children and supporting early development
• Ability to maintain a safe, nurturing, and structured learning environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience working in early childhood education or related fields
• Associate (AA) or Bachelor’s (BA) degree in Early Childhood Education
• Experience in roles such as customer service, healthcare, or retail that involve caregiving or interpersonal interaction

Compensation and Benefits:

• Pay range: USD $20.00 – USD $21.00 per hour
