As an Preschool Assistant Teacher, you will contribute to creating a safe, supportive, and engaging classroom environment while assisting lead educators in delivering meaningful learning experiences aligned with the mission of fostering lifelong learning in young children.

Role and Responsibilities:

The Preschool Assistant Teacher supports classroom instruction and daily routines to help maintain a structured, positive, and developmentally appropriate learning environment. You will work closely with lead teachers to implement lesson plans, supervise children, and ensure a safe and engaging classroom experience.

Support the implementation of age-appropriate lesson plans and early childhood learning activities
Assist lead teachers in delivering interactive and hands-on educational experiences
Prepare, arrange, and organize classroom materials, learning tools, and activity stations
Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities, meals, and rest times to ensure safety and well-being
Observe and track children’s behavior, developmental progress, and learning milestones
Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized classroom environment at all times
Encourage positive behavior and support children’s social and emotional development
Communicate effectively with lead teachers and staff to ensure smooth classroom operations

Required Skills and Experience:

High School Diploma required
Prior experience in a licensed childcare, preschool, or early learning environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-based classroom setting
Patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach toward young children
Ability to maintain child safety and follow structured classroom routines
Strong attention to detail and classroom organization skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in early childhood education or caregiving roles
Background in customer service, healthcare, or child-focused environments
Understanding of early childhood development principles
Enthusiasm for professional growth in education and childcare
