Copilot Careers is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Supply Teachers to join a dynamic team. As a Supply Teacher, you will be responsible for stepping in for regular classroom teachers during their absence, ensuring continuity of teaching and maintaining a positive learning environment for students. You will be expected to deliver pre-planned lessons, manage classroom behavior, and foster student engagement.

Role and Responsibilities:

In this role, you will implement prepared lessons and support classrooms to ensure students continue learning effectively. You will maintain classroom standards, provide feedback, and promote a positive educational experience. Key responsibilities include:

Implement lesson plans left by the absent teacher to ensure continuity of the curriculum.
Maintain a positive, structured, and respectful classroom environment and manage student behavior in line with school policies.
Encourage participation, facilitate learning, and create an engaging classroom atmosphere, even for short-term assignments.
Grade assignments, mark exams, and provide feedback to students as necessary.
Provide detailed reports on student performance, behavior, and relevant observations to the regular teacher.
Work with students who may have special educational needs and provide the necessary support for their learning.
Follow school policies and protocols regarding health, safety, and student well-being.

Required Skills and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
Ability to adapt quickly to different learning environments.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage students and staff.
Flexible and adaptable to different subjects, age groups, and teaching styles.
A background check will be required.
Ability to work on short notice, covering various schools and grade levels as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

Teaching certification is preferred.
Prior experience as a teacher, teaching assistant, or in a similar educational role is highly desirable.
Other specific requirements like first aid certification, if applicable.
