This role is a full-time, in-person teaching position across one of the network’s 59 schools.

Role and Responsibilities:

In this Secondary School Teacher role, you will guide students’ academic development and support their personal growth. You will deliver a structured curriculum, track student performance, and cultivate a positive and engaging learning environment. Key responsibilities include:

• Plan and present dynamic, standards-aligned lessons that challenge students and promote strong academic progress.
• Monitor and assess student learning through assignments, exams, and day-to-day observations while offering timely, actionable feedback.
• Implement and maintain effective classroom management practices that support a productive and respectful environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues, school leadership, and staff to improve student outcomes and maintain alignment with schoolwide objectives.
• Engage regularly with parents and guardians to communicate student progress and partner on strategies for continued success.
• Participate in professional learning opportunities, coaching sessions, and training to strengthen instructional practice and develop leadership skills.

Required Skills and Experience:

• A bachelor’s degree, ideally in a rigorous academic discipline such as biology, chemistry, history, mathematics, English, or engineering.
• Ability to effectively manage a classroom of 20 or more students while fostering a supportive learning atmosphere.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to maintaining high expectations for student achievement and personal development.
• Passion for the subject area and dedication to ongoing professional growth as an educator.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Teaching experience is beneficial but not required.
• Experience using data-driven instructional practices and reviewing student performance to inform improved learning outcomes.
• Comfort with instructional technology and digital tools that enhance classroom teaching.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Annual starting salary of $65,000.
