Bi-County Collaborative is seeking a full-time Paraprofessional.
Paraprofessional positions support special education students by providing social and academic support as well as behavioral interventions and therapeutic strategies to enable students to meet their potential. The right person for this position is eager to work with elementary school children, is dependable and committed to providing a positive learning environment that meets the students' individual needs. Candidate should be flexible and willing to learn through hands-on experiences, professional development workshops and through consultation and observation with teachers, clinicians and specialists.
Social Emotional Paraprofessional: Provide academic support, social coaching and positive behavioral support in a small group setting under the direct supervision of a special education teacher.
Candidates will be dependable, organized, patient and enjoy celebrating students’ successes, whether big or small, as part of a collaborative team.
