Role and Responsibilities:
The Child Care Associate Teacher supports the delivery of high-quality early childhood education by assisting in the creation of a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment. This role works collaboratively with teaching staff to promote children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development while fostering positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Assist in planning and facilitating engaging, hands-on learning activities that support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
- Provide attentive supervision and care to ensure a positive and enriching classroom experience.
- Encourage age-appropriate exploration, creativity, and skill-building through daily interactions and activities.
- Maintain open and professional communication with families, sharing updates on children's progress and daily experiences.
- Promote a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment by following established health, safety, and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff members to support curriculum implementation and classroom management.
- Contribute to creating an inclusive and welcoming environment that supports the unique needs of every child.
Required Skills and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Ability to work effectively with young children in a structured educational setting.

- Must meet all applicable background screening and employment requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in child care, daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings.
- Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or coursework in early childhood education.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- Knowledge of child development principles and developmentally appropriate teaching practices.
